Ylli HOXHA Born in Mat municipality, March 22, 1974. He is married with 3 children.

In 2001, he completed his higher studies and graduated with the title "Forest Engineer", at the Faculty of Forestry at the Agricultural University of Tirana, (1996 - 2001).
In 2009, he was graduated with Scientific Master "Forest Ecological Management", at the Faculty of Forestry at the Agricultural University of Tirana.

His professional career carries several important leadership positions in several institutions in Albania, such as: Head of Technology Transfer Department and Head of the Forestry Department at the Environment and Forest Agency. Head of Protection and Management of the Department of Forestry, in the Ministry of Environment and Responsible of the Forestry Sector, in the Ministry of Tourism and Environment.

Since Septermber 2025, he serve as DG General of the National Forest Agency.
Ylli Hoxha has carried out a series of trainings, qualifications and other national and international activities with a scientific and technical character.

He is very fluent in spoken and writing English.
